The Salvation of the World

Dear Friends,

As I write this, Cheryl and I are eagerly expecting our first grandchild. What a world to be born into! There is a lot of uncertainty in our world with the new variant of covid now rampant. People are anxious and concerned. Our Premier has called for calm.

Whilst we don’t know what will happen tomorrow, we have certainty because our hope is in Jesus, the Christ child who holds the world in His hands and who as a plan – the salvation of the world. Our greatest need is Jesus and His forgiveness. The greatest security is to be with Jesus. No doubt there have been many disappointments this year as 2021 draws to a close and there will be new disappointments in 2022. But faith in Jesus connects us to the one who is our future & He brings courage & hope.
